SAFARI JUNIOR TENNIS CAMP
East Africa’s Number One Camp for 6 years to 18 years only and includes high performance training for tournament players. Recognised by partners UNEP, Global Sports Alliance and Professional Tennis Registry.
3 – 14 August 2009 (Weeks 6, 7).
Guest coaches from Japan, USA, UK, Zimbabwe will attend. Entry fee: Kshs. 8000 (Kenyan residents) or US$ 130 (non residents) which includes refreshments and lunch. Full boarding facility available at Kshs. 9680 (Kenyan residents) or US$ 178 (non-residents). Scholarships available. Apply before 30th June to secure a place.

Nairobi Weekly Tennis Camp - Sadili Oval, Langata - Nairobi
Weeks 1, 3, 4, 5, 8, 9
Tiny Tots: 9.30 a.m., Beginners: 10.30 a.m., Intermediate: 11.30 a.m., Junior Squad: 2.00 p.m., Performance Squad: 3.00 – 4.30 p.m. Charge: Kshs. 1500 per week (group training), Kshs. 4500 for ten sessions (individual training).

Tennis Training at Karen Country Club:
Weeks 3, 4, 5 (members only)
9.00 – 10.00 a.m.: 6 – 10 years
10.30 – 11.30 a.m.: 11 – 14 years
11.30 – 12.30: 15 - 18 years
Charge: Kshs. 1500 per week for group training, Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. Since the minimum number before a group session can run at Karen is 4, members are asked to book at the Tennis Reception at least 2 days before.

East Africa Junior Tennis Open Tournament
12 – 15 August 2008

A Tennis Africa Tournament for intermediate and advanced players in the Under 10, Under 12, Under 14, Under 16 and Under 18 categories, boys and girls. Entry is free for the Safari Junior Tennis Camp participants and Tennis Africa Cup (www.tennisafrica.info) members. Kshs. 500 for non-members.

11.30 a.m. – 1.00 p.m.: Level I: Introduction to water skills, Level II: Fundamental Aquatic Skills, 
2.00 – 3.30 p.m.: Preschool Level I (for ages 3 & 4), Preschool Level II (for ages 4 & 5),
3.30 – 6.00 p.m.: Level V: Stroke Refinement (for the competitive swimmer).

Wheelchair Basketball and Tennis and Special Olympics Camp
8-9 July 2009

We shall be holding the above event as part of our culture of ensuring that we recognize physically challenged young people. This event shall take place at Sadili Oval Sports Centre, Langata, where we introduced wheelchair tennis for the first time in Kenya in 2006. Participation is free of charge: apply to secure a place. Lunch/refreshments provided.

Youth Basketball Tournament
Saturday 22nd August 2009
Under 12, Under 15 and Under 18 Games:
One day of non-stop fun, sport and music! Inashikaaa! Charge: Kshs. 300 per team.
Spectator competitions, dunking competitions, shooting competitions, and lots more! Top DJs on a roll…you don’t want to miss this! Tickets go for 50 bex a head.

AEROBICS, GYM, DANCE
Weeks 3, 4, 5, 8, 9 daily, from 10.00 a.m. to 12.00 noon. You’ll learn power walking, kids-step, aero-step, cardio-funk, ndombolo systems, modern dance and hip hop. Circuit gym for strength building and conditioning. Charge: Kshs. 1500 per week

CHESS

Classes will run for one hour every Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 8.30 - 10.00 a.m. throughout the holiday. The best way to learn new moves and keeps your mind razor sharp. Charge: Kshs. 1000 per week.

SOCCER/RUGBY

A Level C Tennis Africa Cup Tournament for beginner-intermediate players in the Under 6, Under 8, Under 10, Under 12, Under 14, Under 16 and Under 18 year categories, boys and girls to be held at Nyali Golf and Country Club. Payment at Nyali Golf and Country Club reception,

17-28 August 2009: Langata Youth Soccer Camp at Nairobi West Prison Grounds
Training Camp shall run throughout all the days. There will be local and internationally-trained volunteers and coaches attending and assisting with the camp. Every day of the camp, there shall be an environment, health and community activity that all participants must be involved in. Entry is free on first come first served basis, and priority will be given to underprivileged children 16 years and below. Apply before 25th July 2009.
